Ireland Tour Day Four

This morning we left Killarney and headed to Blarney Castle. When we got to Blarney we got off the bus at the castle and all went for a wander. Eli and I headed up to the top of the castle where I kissed the Blarney Stone so now have the gift of eloquent speech for the next seven years, Eli took some good pics and I then bought the official one cos it had a good shot of me kissing the stone, and I am technically a tourist at mo so splurging on silly stuff is allowed hehe. We then wandered through the Poison Garden which is filled with plants it's dangerous to touch and eat, not as impressive as we were thinking it would be. Then we headed to the fern garden, again not as cool as expected although the waterfall was kinda cute. As the horse graveyard was blocked off we wandered out of the gardens and found a chocolate shop where I got some yum as chocolate and some fudge. After browsing the biggest souviner shop in Ireland and having a cup of tea we got back on the bus where we headed for Cork and the English Market for lunch.

After wandering the market and having a bite for lunch we headed off to Cobh to see the cathedral and the titanic stuff there, Cobh is where the titanic picked up the Irish passengers for those of you wondering.

Then it was back to Cork for the evening. Us hostel crew headed out for dinner after ditching our gear at the hostel and found a cool pub for food, then some of us headed off to one with live Irish music for another pint, the music was wicked awesome as well, totally worth it :)

Do love Cork and wish we was here longer, feel like I could love this city heaps, but we are off tomorrow early (8.10am) to head to Cliffs of Moher and Galway, so fun but sad at same time.
