London day two

Today we walked to Brompton Cemetery to have a wander and look around, it's bigger than we expected it was gonna be which was cool. It was a very nice place for a morning wander, and we saw some cool crosses and took some cool pics :)

We then went and found the blue police box (aka Dr Who's Tardis) that is just randomly on the street :) after this we wandered to the V&A Museum and saw the Baden Powell House and the Natural History Museum along the way. We didn't bother going into either, there was a queue for the museum which we didn't feel like standing in and the Baden Powell House looked like an office and not something that welcomes visitors.

The V&A Museum (Victoria and Albert Museum) was really cool though, I don't think we saw that whole thing but we spent ages there and had fun so are ok with it. We loved the exhibitions on jewelery and the one on fashion, both showed how they have developed through the ages. There was also a section on stained glass windows which was pretty cool. We also got to design our own coat of arms :)

After this we wandered to Harrods, first plan was to have a bite to eat there but somewhere that serves caviar in the food hall is not somewhere we can afford, so instead we just wandered around for a bit.

We then went to the Science Museum which was also pretty cool, kinda standard for science-y museums but this one had a cool section on how telling time has changed through the decades. It had other cool stuff that we just ignored as well hehe.

We then headed to Notting Hill (this was when we first decided we should take the subway, mostly cos woulda taken an hour to walk and we were tired). We wandered round Notting Hill for a while and decided that we actually really like it :) after this we just wandered back to the accomodation as we are very tired, not the best sleep last night and lots of walking done today.
