I have been advised that I should do more posts, so here is me attempting to do more regular posting 🙃
Last wknd I went for a wander with Belinda sort of around Lake Mangamahoe. I say sort of around as we did the upper track from first carpark to the end of road then turned around and did the track back to our cars. Which means we didn’t fully walk around the lake, but it’s more pretty to do it the way we did. Lots more stairs too of course, cos the road (which is the other way to get back to your car) has no stairs lol. Some pics of our wander below 😊
General cat update, cos you know you want one hehe, they are doing very well. Both are a tad cranky at me though cos I’m making them use the cat door properly (it has been propped open till now), am doing the tough love approach and just making them suck it up and use it. Zef pretends he doesn’t know how to use it when I’m around, but I know he knows how cos he comes inside overnight and often is inside when I get home from work when he was outside when I left in the morning. Lulu, who is so very Lulu in everything, uses it fine but does sometimes hiss at it first cos she don’t seem to like it 🤷🏼♀️ go figure lol.
My advice for the week is - if you ever get a cat, try get one like Lulu. One who looks at you not just like you are the human that feeds them but that looks at you like you are the best human to ever exist and the only one they ever want 💜 it is definitely amazing for one’s self esteem hehe.
