4 tramps in 2 hours

Doffy and I went for a wander yesterday morning with Missie, Smiley and Sarg.  It was Sarg's first tramp, he wanted to come along as he was donating his savings to the Park (Sarg is a money box for those who haven't met him).  It was rather windy but we managed to stay nice and warm and not get blown away :) And yes we did 4 tramps in 2 hours cos we are so super fit hehe.  We did Connett Loop, Ngatoro Loop, Nature Walk and Veronica Loop hehe :)

We have been for a few tramps recently just not really taken photos, well dad has for his I think.  He goes more than me.

Otherwise life with me is same old same old, work - procrastinate - study, that about sums it up lol :)

Pretty sunset on Saturday night

Pics from Sunday's tramp (Missie is purple one, Smiley the yellow/orangey one, and Sarg the camo one)

More Mountain Pics

Ystdy Dad and I did the Pouakai Circuit, mostly cos I'm an idiot and said hey lets do it going in the other direction, silly silly mistake on my part.  Did get to see a nice start to the sunrise before we set off though which was cool, the central mountains were looking very nice :)  The walk itself was hot and long and there were far too many steps both uphill and down, I came to the conclusion that tramping is an evil and barbaric form of torture and that it is bad parenting to let your kids do a walk like that, and yes I told dad that and he politely reminded me it was my idea in the first place (and here I was thinking he was getting old and forgetful lol).

Pretty sunrise, worth waking up for

Made it to the shelter and Missie was still in a good mood :)

Henry Peak

Dad at the Tarns, just taking his photo

Too windy for a reflection but still worth a photo :)

Pretty much dead now

So made it to the summit today :) with Doffy :)

Started with a semi simple hike up to Fanthams Peak and Syme Hut but then the clouds cleared from the summit and it looked not too bad and not to far away (we are insane, just repeating the obvious) and for some reason when one of us suggested that we climb to the top of the mountain the other one didn't say no that's a dumb idea.

Mission getting to the summit with hideous as scoria and dodging snow but many slips and slides later we made it. Then headed down the other side as repeating tracks is so boring and last year we made a silly plan to go up and over then back round to car.

10 hours 15 mins later we made it back to Spartacus :) so happy to see my baby again lol (Spartacus is my car if you didn't know). Long day but am sure when I stop hurting it will have been so worth it hehe :)
