Really, work again already???

Why is it that weekends never last long enough? They are always over so fast, unless you for some unknown reason you wanna go to work then they drag. 

This weekend in particular flew past, spent Saturday morning at the snow, terrible weather so we (Bridie, Laura and I) just hung out in Oakune, then Bridie and I headed to her families bach to watch DVDs and chill. Back home this morning to do some study and cleaning and now it's almost work time :( 

Not fair at all, I like weekends more than just 2/7th of the time so should get them more haha

Sometimes mistakes are good

For some reason they changed the draw for our indoor soccer league and they didn't tell us so we turned up at 8.30 and our game was at 7.30 :( not cool cos we didn't get to play and we had new uniforms and everything.

But on the plus side the game that was on at 8.30 was the top two teams in our league (social) which we wanted to watch as they are both very good teams.  Was an amazing game, so glad stayed to watch.  There was everything a good soccer game has, good passing, amazing shots, a yellow card, and a last minute equaliser goal.

Definitely a good night :)

Stupid evil bed

Why does my bed keep beating me up?? I dont think I've ever done anything mean to it but yet time after time hehe now have that song in my head, wait now what was I saying, oh yeah time after time it keeps making me be hurt when I wake up.  I go to bed fine, no injuries, well no new ones haha, and then wake up and something is hurt.  Like last night, fine when went to bed and then wake up and my arm is super sore and I am pretty sure I have pulled a muscle :( now how is that fair????

That was a plot turn I didn't see coming, also not a very good one. Seriously what did Piney ever do to you Clay? Nothing, well other than question your leadership and never trust/like you, but thats hardly reason enough to kill him. Not cool writers! Please feel free to shoot the annoying new sheriff though :-)

Another year down

Well almost, but I am pretty sure I will make it through tomorrow so am not worried about saying I survived :)

Still no plans for new years, but that is ok, its who you spend it with as much as what you do that matters in my opinion.

2011 has been a good year overall. I got older (seems to happen every year, not quite sure why or how...), my hair had quite a few different styles (like normal), work went well, made soem new friends and met a crazy Irishman (though that is probably how they all are so nothing unusual there).

Hope that you all have a great 2012, I plan to :)

power cut drama

So anyhow there was that major power cut yesterday, which the generator at work failed to come on. not good by the way. and then when the power did come on they learnt that the computer systems were fried and it would be bout hour and half till they were up. got call from lesley this morning sayingthey were still out and not to come to work till 9 as that is when they should be back up. so early finish yesterday and late start today, and some people think karma aint real :)

said i would be better at this...

But turns out im not really. anyhow news from my part of the world is that i am moving to parks admin earlyish in the new year. i am going to be covering for suzy while she is on maturnity leave. am rather excited and have already started training for it which is a nice challenge. was ready for one of those :)
